 About FIHTA
Conceived in 1965 the Fiji Islands Hotel and Tourism Association has grown from strength to strength in the past forty five years. Similarly membership has increased with time and now accounts for more than eighty percent of total room inventory in Fiji. In 2005, the Association further expanded to include other key elements of the Tourism Industry with Dive and Marine Operators becoming Active Members. In 2008 Marine Operators were included as Active members. The Association is proactive and has addressed and will continue to address major issues of concern to the hotel and tourism industry in Fiji.

REGIONAL SUB-COMMITTEE
The FIHTA is divided into the following regions: Suva, Coral Coast, Nadi, Mamanuca, North and outer islands. Regional Committees operate under the guidelines in the Memorandum and Articles of Association and report directly to the FIHTA Board. Regional meetings and Board meetings are usually held once a month.
